Working up some Valentine's Day hats this week... Order one for your little Valentine! All monies support a local family raising awareness for Cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Would love for 2016 to be the year that we can put together an awareness table at a show.

Mr. Andy went to his neurologist yesterday. Good news, he's not having seizures. Bad news, he might always be on his seizure meds.

Andy lost his little sister Jane unexpectedly on December 3rd, 2015. It has been a time of deep sadness for our family. If you want more information, a GoFundMe was created. https://www.gofundme.com/supportforbabyjane... Thank you for supporting and following Andy's story.

Tomorrow at 8am begins Andy's 3-4 day hospital stay. Let's hope for a seizure! This way his neurologist can collect the information he needs to help control them effectively.

Andy had a severe seizure on Saturday. We are starting a seizure medicine he was on when having infantile spasms, and he's scheduled for an EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit) stay of 3-4 days this month.

Can I take a moment of your time, to tell you about epilepsy? 1 in 26 people will be diagnosed with epilepsy at some point in their lives. Andy was diagnosed the day he was born. When he was in the NICU receiving oxygen after being resuscitated he had his first seizures. Can I tell you what it's like, to go to your child's room in the morning, and find that puddle of drool? That drool, that's frothing from your sweet child's mouth. Their eyes wide open, arm jerking, unrespon...sive. Can I tell you about the fear that the seizure will never end? That the neurologist won't call you back in time? That your local hospital is NOT properly equipped with an epilepsy monitoring unit nor a pediatric neurologist. My child smiles most of the time. He's a happy kiddo. And he has epilepsy. Will you share this post for Andy? November is all about going Purple for Epilepsy awareness month. Please share! And if you want to go further in helping us to raise awareness, purchase a crochet hat this year. All proceeds go towards helping Andy.
