Some days being a dog groomer and animal lover are very hard. When you, our clients suffer the loss of a pet, we suffer with you. We get attached to your dog. Some we feel more connected to some then others. Some we fall in love with and they become known as "my Buddy, my Lola, my so and so, you get the point. One such dog that I fell in love with passed away a few days ago. When the owner called to tell me ,I was broken hearted for the family as well as for myself. When I hu...ng up the phone I cried, in the middle of grooming, I cried some more just thinking of her. The special little dog I fell in love with. I will miss her as if she was one of my own. I think to myself what right do I have to cry over her, after all I didn't own her, she wasn't "mine". I would only see her every 6 weeks or so, only for a few hours at that. But in those few hours that little fluff ball gave me the best doggie hugs and she had those eyes that looked into your soul. She made me love her. I bet everyone that ever met her, loved her. Some dogs are human, no better then human. She was an Angel ( well not really, she was a bit bratty) but one thing I can tell you is that she was very much loved. She was a one of a kind dog, and I am honored that I was her groomer. She will be missed and remembered always. See more

Sorry for the long read but its important. We are overwhelmed with calls for grooming appointments. We are getting your messages and we are doing our best to schedule in our regular customers. If you already called and left a message we will get back to you eventually. Unfortunately we cannot take on any new customers at this time.(We might consider emergencies). I will no longer be grooming cats, rabbits or guinea pigs. I am considering a once a month nail clipping day, whe...re it will be a day of just clipping nails, no grooming. On that day, dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs can come for nail clipping. Once I establish the day I will post it. If you are a regular customer and your dog is not in dire need, please stretch out your appointment date if you can, we would like to help dogs that are in terrible need for a grooming. If your dog is matted and overheating or its nails are curled, or has a skin condition please say so on your message. If you have a special needs dog with MAJOR behavioral issues like biting, he/she needs to be on CDB oil or medication from the vet in order for me to groom them. In the past I would take the time to train behavior issue dogs while I was grooming them. I can no longer do that due to time constraints. I love ALL the dogs, the safety and the welfare of the dogs are my first concern. I will not rush or push a dog through a grooming process. Also if your dog is here getting groomed, please be patient and wait for our call for pick up. We will not be answering the phone during grooming. Our front door is locked, we are only allowing once person in the lobby at a time. Masks are required. We will take your dog from your car if you like, just call from the parking lot. Please take your collar and leash with you once we secure your dog with our own leash. Thank you for your understanding.

Another "clean" food that helps with skin issues. Often times medicine doesnt work well because the source of protien is raised with growth hormones to accelerate production time. Clean food is the way to go. Not just for our pets but for us too.

I am trying out the behavioral diet on a rescue dog I have. I will keep you all posted about the results.
