Animal Shelter of Schoharie Valley

**WE ARE OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please call the shelter to make an appointment to see animals.** Hank is a 8week old Jack Russell/Dachshund mix. He is very sweet and snuggly!

Socks is a 9 month old lab mix. He is great on the leash and loves everyone! He is well mannered and eager to learn. He is GREAT with kids! He is good with dogs, but is not fond of cats.

Rue is a 1 year old Catahoula mix. She is very sweet and loves to go on walks. She is shy at first, but warms up quickly. She is good with most dogs, and doesn’t seem to mind cats!

Rachel is a 7-8 month old female. She was born outside and is learning to trust people. She gets better everyday, but is still cautious. She does not like being picked up and handled yet. She is very curious and likes to watch everything around her. She would do best in a home with older kids.

Smoky is a 1 year old male. He is SUPER sweet and loves attention! He can be shy at first, and is getting used to be being held. **He has a special diet! He can not have food that contains Chicken.**
