I hope that everyone is doing well, spending time with your family, and more importantly, keeping yourselves safe. We will be starting to hold classes virtual...ly using Zoom this week! * This week Renshi Cameron will be teaching the pee-wee/junior class that will stream at 6pm on Monday and Wednesdays. * The adult and advanced juniors class this week will be taught by Shihan on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6pm. * Also this Friday at 6pm Renshi ATKINS will be doing a Class! Please check your e-mail or DM us for the rest of the information on how to participate.

To all of our Dojo family, With the Helath Department and NY being in a State of Emergency, we see no alternative but to also suspend classes ...for the next two weeks. The health of our students, their families and our community is paramount at this point. To make up for missed classes, we will be putting together multiple seminars that will be scheduled to make up for the missed training. These seminars will be anounced at a later time but we will be setting up both adult and child seminars to make sure everyone get their propper training. Private lessons are still available and may be scheduled throughout this time. The dojo, as always, will be cleaned thoroughly and private lessons are a great way to not just keep up with training but to push ahead towards your blackbelt and beyond! As ever, our dedication to our students and our art makes us who we are and guides how we strive to meet the needs of our students, and all of our extended dojo family. We will provide updates as necessary, as we all see how the following days unfold. Please take care of yourselves during our break from training. All the Instructors are very proud of all the recent testers and we were happy to see all the new promotions to Green Belt, Brown Belt and Black Belt! Keep in m...ind its not over yet! We still have a lot going on to end off 2019 so be sure to add the following dates into your calendar! ~ Dojo will be closed for classes December 23rd and reopen January 6th! ~Black Belt Test Friday, December 20th @6pm This is for FOR ALL BLACK BELTS! Yes, this includes the new additions who have earned the honor to be on the mat and train with all of our veteran Black Belts and Instructors! We invite all of our past Black belts to join us as well! ~Dojo Hangout Monday, December 30th @6-8pm We welcome everyone to come and join us for a friendly holiday hangout. We started this last year with great success having many students from the past stop by and say Osu! We are all looking forward to taking some time to hangout with our Dojo Family this holiday. We ask for a $15 donation or $10 if you bring something as we will be having pizza and other snacks and refreshments. ~Women's Self Defense Seminar on Friday, January 3rd 6:30-8pm Due to the overwhelming requests we have had recently, to kick off the New Year we will be holding a Women's Self Defense Seminar. This will be open for any adult or teen who is interested in learning how to protect themselves. We will be going over basic scenarios in which may be forced upon you when least expected and how to escape the safest way possible. The cost is only $20 for this hour and an a half interactive seminar.

While few people look forward to the dropping temperatures, one positive is having a reason to order warm, toasty AQMAI apparel! Just ask Shihan...what greater... gift could anyone receive this holiday season??? TESTING is COMING! If you are testing for a GREEN, BROWN, or BLACK BELT, you must speak to an instructor about your upcoming test. If you have already done so; thank you. If you have not, please do not wait. Testing lists are posted and names will be added as students receive their third stripes in the next weeks. Focus on training because there is still time to get your name on the list before the test date. Good luck!
