Meeting this Thursday! Doors open at 6:30, Meeting at 8:00. Hall will be open Friday Night, 7:00. On Wednesday March 17th Hall will open at 2:00 for St Patrick's Day! We will have Corned Beef, and all of the stuff to make Rueben Sandwiches! We will have our donation buckets out! Plan on going into the night. You can bring some friends if you want! We will just be hanging out!... On Saturday March 20th, we will have our Party. Starting at 2:00, and we will have live music! Shepherds Pie, Corned Beef and Potatoes. $10 per person, plus donate in bucket for any alcohol you drink. Friends/Family more than welcome! Please RSVP for the 2 St Patrick's events, if you have not already done so! We have enough beer, but want to make sure we have the right amount of food! As always, if our parking lot is Full, Never park in the store lot directly to our East. Free to park on street in front of those stores, or if after 7:00pm, we can park at Autobody shop further East (just do not block access to their back lot). There is also a lot of parking on the street across from Hall. NOT expecting a huge crowd for any of these events, but good chance we will overflow our lot, so just wanted to get this info out again, especially for newer members. Hope to see you all soon!
Our Fundraising game (a version of the Queen of Hearts Game) will be restarting on March 5th. If you are interested in helping us out, and maybe win a bunch of $ for yourself, contact us at [email protected]. $25 will get you a number for 2 months. We are a Non-Profit, any money we make on game is for building improvements and to donate to other charities. Open to everyone, do not have to be a member of Div 9. Thank you!
Great news 1- Brian N has started a new Rebel game details in email to follow.... the reworked system will be easier to understand and looks like a lot more chances to win!!! 2- Jimmy Griff (me)will be starting to collect information of businesses owned or operated by member of the society. I plan on calling it ... ready .. IRISH ( Irish Resource Information Services Help) the idea is that we will have a spread sheet starting off with Rebel 9 brothers and Sisters of business...es/ services (cooking, cleaning, dancing, bad jokes, whatever) Help line if you need to maybe get assistance due to COVID with shopping or even just need to talk to someone like a priest or even just bs with me.. then I'll be looking to expand this out to the other Suffolk halls and then to our Nassau Bro & Sisters.. if successful I see this as a state run idea but I'll need to learn to crawl first before I present it to them. ANYWAY looks like the weather broke but be careful of black ice in the AM and the wildlife running amok ... Hope all is well with everyone and stay tuned for impromptu gatherings or post!!!! See more
We had a winner for our free the Rebel 9, Congrats and to all who have participated thank you. A special Thank you to Brian N for keeping this going and raising money for the hall. Big month ahead news will be posted shortly looks like we're heading into warmer weather for a bit... can't wait to see the spring grass...
