Every ten years the United States conducts a Census, a count of all of the people living in this country. The 2020 Census is nearing the end of its count. Our Asian communities need to participate. Our completion of these forms ensures we get our fair share of federal funding for health care, education, transportation, social services and other programs. People can complete the Census regardless of whether they are citizens, green card or visa holders. The information you prov...ide is secure for 70 years. Any Census employee who releases information would be subject to a prison sentence of up to five years, a fine of up to $250,000, or both. For more information on completing the 2020 Census, please visit https://www.2020census.gov/ you will be able to choose your language.

Free September Open House with AAPI Sponsor Eyre Writing Center : We are pleased to introduce our APAPA internship sponsor Eyre Writing Institute. EWC was founded on the belief that strong writing skills serve as the bedrock of being a strong thinker. After graduating from Harvard University's History Department and spending a decade on Wall Street, Jane founded EWC in order to make a strong liberal arts education accessible to families across the country. Through small semin...ar-style classes and programs, the goal is to instill good writing early on in students' lives so that they can engage with the community at large. EWC also runs The EWC Journal (EWJ), which is a daily publication produced by the EWJ Team. Students produce hard news and soft feature pieces on a daily basis, while the team provides student feedback and copy-edits the work every day. You can view the online publication here: https://www.ewcjournal.com/. Please see the digital flyer below for a summary of EWC's offerings:
