AQUA VISTA COVID-19 SAFETY RULES IN EFFECT AS OF JUNE 6, 2020: There is a maximum of 10 people (children included) allowed to be at a campsite at any given time. You must adhere to the 6-foot social distancing guidelines for those visiting your campsite. All laws and restrictions (social distancing, face masks, etc.) in place per New York State and Rensselaer County must be adhered to. All visitors must be PRE-REGISTERED. Please text Mike at 518-772-9318 PRIOR to your... guest’s arrival. I need everyone’s full first and last names texted so I have a record for the health department. Please indicate if they are day visitors (must leave by 8 pm) or overnight visitors (indicate how many nights they are staying.) If you or anyone in your family is feeling ill or has any COVID-19 symptoms, or, if you or anyone in your family has come in contact with anyone positive for COVID-19, please remain isolated at your home; do not come to Aqua Vista. Please remember the following campground rules which have always been in place: Quiet hours start at 11 pm Golf carts are to be parked at 11 pm. If you are visiting someone at 11 pm, you do not have to drive your cart to your site at that time; you may take one final trip with your golf cart back to your site after 11 pm

GOOD MORNING! Yes, we will be opening on Thursday, May 21 for Seasonal Campers ONLY. For the safety and well-being of our Seasonal Campers, we will not be opening for short-term/transient camping until July. There will be strict safety measures in place, phased out as the season progresses. On Monday, more details will be posted on this page, and letters will be mailed to all seasonal campers outlining the first phase of opening. Stay safe!

Good afternoon. I've received several messages from customers who have essential supplies in their campers. The gate will be unlocked from 10 am until 6 pm on Saturday (4/18) and Sunday (4/19) so you can go to your campsite to retrieve essential supplies. You must practice social distancing, retrieve what you need, then leave the property. Security will be onsite to enforce these measures. Thank you for your cooperation.

Dear campers, I have been e-mailing and calling the Rensselaer County Health Department daily all week to find out the status of opening Aqua Vista. They e-mailed me a copy of this letter shortly before 3 pm today. I wanted to let you know ASAP. Although our official opening date is not until May 1st, I wanted to let you know what this letter means with regard to coming to the campground prior to opening. I have spoken with a representative at the Health Department. They... told me customers are NOT allowed to be on the property. You cannot check on your camper at this time. I will give you updates on opening date as soon as I can, but wanted to post this immediately. Please be patient as I try to work with the Health Department to determine when we can open. Good afternoon. I have been in contact with the health department. As of this afternoon, Governor Cuomo has NOT shut down RV Parks or Campgrounds. That, of course, could change at any time. So, for now, the plan is to open as usual. That being said, the health and well-being of our Aqua Vista family is of utmost importance. The health department indicated they will be giving guidance along the way on opening for the season. I will keep you updated. Thank you and stay safe!
