Check it out - it's an aquarium snow globe! One of our Balloonfish, Goldie, released eggs this morning. There are so many that it looks like it's snowing inside the exhibit! Thanks to senior aquarist Alyssa Nicole Shepherd for capturing this magical moment.

Happy turtle Tuesday from Clyde, the Florida softshell! When he's not enjoying an afternoon bask, Clyde can often be found buried in the sand, using his long neck and snorkel nose to breathe.

It's morphometrics Monday! When a sea lion is rescued it can be difficult to determine their age. By regularly measuring Mia and our other sea lions, we can track how their sizes change over time and help researchers determine the age of sea lions when they're rescued from the wild.

Our stingrays get the star treatment! They're hand-fed a delicious diet of meaty fish like lake smelt, capelin, fatty herring and even shrimp!
