Meet Juney! Earlier this week an Urgent Care client came in with a 17 week old puppy with an extremely prolapsed rectum. After reviewing an estimate and treatment plan, she realized how severe the situation was. Juney's owner made the extremely difficult decision to surrender her to ensure she could live a happy, healthy, long life. We quickly realized how lucky we are to work so closely with Keller's Kats, who instantly took over her care and had us get her into surgery imme...diately. What should have been a 20 minute surgery ended up being several hours long, with the owner of the rescue picking her up around 10pm. Juney is now on the road to recovery, but will need special medications and be prone to infection due to a tear in her colon we repaired.
