Nowadays one of the questions we hear most is, "when are you getting your vaccine?" As of yesterday Karen and Melissa can finally say, "I DID!" NYS recently widened the availability to receive the vaccine to more health care workers including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and licensed massage therapists. Karen and Melissa have received their first dose without any challenges except a bit of arm soreness at the injection site and will continue to be COVID-19 tested weekly as well as continue the normal COVID-19 protocols. Thank you for continuing to have us as part of your health care team.
Welcome Friends! We look forward to supporting your goals for this New Year. What's your word for 2021?
Want to pick up a Gift Certificate curb side for that sassy someone? Maybe that sassy someone is YOU! Give us a call and we will get you set up and ready with that gift certificate to spread some holiday cheer! Gift certificates also available online for stealth service.
Worried about your continued care? Unlike the complete shut down we experienced earlier this year we are able to continue to provide "medically necessary massage therapy" for those who are affected by pain, illness, or injury. No prescription is required at this time.

When we think of savoring our minds typically go to a great meal we had, right? At the time we sank into our senses and focused in on the sumptuous flavor, delectable aroma, the color and texture of the pallette in front of us. . Savoring is deeper than just "living in the moment". Living in the moment is a mental activity while savoring arises from the body + from our senses. . Think of when you had your last massage. You were happily enjoying the relief of skilled hands a...nd pressure onto places your body cried, or sometimes screamed, for relief? Where was your mind? Outside of the room? Wondering how you were going to get all of the things done? Worried? Wandering? . Imagine what it would be like to feel the surface of your body touching the warm massage table. The soft linens and plush blankets enveloping you. Perhaps there is an essential oil floating throughout the room. What does it smell like? What gentle sounds do you hear? How does your body respond to the varied tempo and pressure on your skin from the massage? Do you drift into the colors behind your closed eyelids? Sounds amazing, right? . Extend this exercise into as many places in your life as you can find. Savor the time with your family. Savor your morning coffee. Savor your walk outside or drive to your destination. Savor that conversation with a friend. . Savor life itself. . See more
In a world of frustration & #maskup + fighting & selfishness we wanted to share a good side of the story. It has been nearly a month since re-opening for #massage sessions. Over this period of time, 99.9% of clients have arrived with and have worn masks without question. Even greater is the multiple clients who have been cautious and thoughtful of our health and safety who have called the office to reschedule/cancel due to their travel plans and COVID-19 exposure risk in th...eir work environments. We cannot thank you all enough for being part of our amazing Armory Massage #downtownsyracuse community!! Let's continue to care for one another and spread kindness throughout #Syracuse by continuing to proudly wear our masks. We ARE the Mighty #SaltCity!
"Scream inside your heart." Who else can relate? Be gentle with yourself and go to self care as often as necessary as we all continue to traverse these challenging times.
Thinking of supporting @DowntownSyracuse businesses? With everyone working from home there is plenty of parking! #ReopeningSeason
Cruising smoothly through another full week of massage therapy sessions! This week our thanks go out to Armoured One LLC for helping to keep us and you safe while on the massage table. Thank you!
Health is much more than "don't be sick". . You are part of the community. You are part of your family. You are part of the environment. ... You are part of society. You are part of yourself. . Disease happens when there is a break in one of these connections. . Harmony is what you need at the right moment & at the right place. See more
Have a Gift Certificate hanging around you have been wanting to use? Give us a call. We are open!
Local Love Friday! We have installed glass covers to our old wooden tables to protect the finish and tighten our disinfectanting protocols. Thank you Martin and team for the beautifully cut glass and making sure we were ready to re-open on time!
Happy to be back in the office!!
We are pleased to announce that Melissa is now certified in Contact Tracing by Johns Hopkins University! Johns Hopkins University has been on the forefront of the COVID-19 public issues from the very beginning. Even though a certification is not required to reopen, this further demonstrates our commitment to be a long-term partner in our clients healthcare needs. We've missed all of you and look forward to getting everyone back to a place of respite and calm after a long disruption.
How is everyone doing? How can we help?
