If you are heading to Adams... think twice... Stay away... Cant get tractor trailers over the hill... We have gottin over 2 feet of snow since this morning... If you have to come to Adams... please drive very safely

Dangerously cold wind chills expected. Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 4 feet in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. Wind chills as low as 30 below zero expected. * WHERE...Jefferson and Lewis counties with highest snow amounts over the Tug Hill Plateau. * WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 7 AM EST Friday. For the Wind Chill Warning, from 5 PM Wednesday to 6 PM EST Thursday. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
