Thank you to all my clients and friends who have supported me during my entire time in this business. It has been a pleasure to serve you and become more than client/ tech. Many of you have become friends and have been there for me during many dark times. Thank you for all of these years. It’s the end of a era. ...

My current days and hours are limited, due to needing to physically distance with my suite mate and other clients, to create a safer environment for all. These hours and days are temporary, but we do not know how long this will be. Every other monday, all day select hours.... Thursday 7 am to 12 pm Friday, all day select hours. Saturday 6 am to 10 am I realize these are not the most convenient for everyone, and I hope to be able to arrange a more set and full schedule soon.

I am happy to share that I have received this certification from Barbicide,on proper sanitation practices. I am speaking honestly, that although I intend on keeping the cleanest, and most sanitized environment, until I feel that the safety of my clients, and myself can be guaranteed, I will not be reopening. When i do, we will be stronger than ever. Miss you all so much! Prayers for all <3

It does not appear that April 2 will be feasible at this time. As of now, we are still mandated to be closed and there is no foreseeable timeline given. I do not feel confident that it will be very soon, but I do pray it won’t be very long. I hope all of my clients are sheltering in place, following the guidelines that will help flatten the curve and get us all back together again. ... I hope you are all well and safe and will continue to be, as we navigate our way through this unprecedented experience in our lifetimes. I hope to see you all soon. In the meanwhile, please #stayhome

Here are some tips for my clients and anyone who cannot visit the nail salon for a while. Removing gel polish: Get yourself some good straight acetone or go online to Sally’s or amazon and get the Gelish remover. Take a file and file off the top layer of polish to break the seal. ... Soak a cotton ball in the remover and place on top of your nail, and cover in foil. Give it about a half hour depending on what brand you use. If it’s OPI you may need at least 30 minutes. If it’s shellac, probably only 10 minutes. Gently file off the gel as it flakes and melts off. Lightly buff your nail and replenish moisture with some cuticle oil. If you do not have cuticle oil, any oil will do. Coconut, olive oil, almond oil. Removing powder: This product is much more difficult than soak off gel polish, but you will need to do all the same steps. Give the soaking time anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes. The resins will become very sticky so it’s a little tricky to remove. Removing regular polish if you don’t have acetone or polish remover: Take any other polish and put a light coat over your nail. Immediately wipe it all off and it will remove all the polish. Removing acrylic: Cut nails down as short as possible. Pour straight acetone in a glass or ceramic bowl not meant to be used again. Soak your nails in the acetone for about an hour, taking out periodically to file the melting product. You will be busy awhile. Disposing of acetone or Gelish remover: Do not dump down drain. Throw on a paper towel inside garbage and do not use or throw near flame or heat. Long nails hold more bacteria. It’s best to take them down now to be safer. Letting gel or actinic grow out? Try filing down the ridge and buffing smooth if there is no lifting . If there is lifting, please remove. You do not want to glue them or risk getting an infection or fungus due to moisture under the nail enhancements. Please feel free to message with any questions. I hope we can be together again soon. Prayers for the world right now

Due to the escalating situation, and because I believe social distancing is an effective measure we should all be taking, I will be taking a few weeks off, starting immediately after today. I will be back April 2, or revisit the situation as needed. I am sorry for the inconvenience and pray for everyone’s health and safety. See you in a few weeks.... Thank you all.
