Good morning, peeps. I've decided nothing but positive posts, with no more virus posts or wasting time and energy crafting replies to every ignorant response. S...ome people just want a reason to freak out and the media is doing enough of the fear spreading for all of us, and clearly, the crazies on social media are also coming out of the woodwork, so to combat that - Nothing but positive, uplifting stuff for at least the next 48 hours. Mostly I'm just going to avoid reading FB and enjoy the extra time with my family. Also doing some music for our nursing home friends who are locked down today. It will be a set full of fun and inspirational tunes. Now go wash your hands and enjoy this beautiful day in upstate, NY. God is still on the throne - and there is no perspiration on his upper lip. :-) See more

My latest work. Still trying to come up with a title. Suggestions are appreciated. :-) The subtlety of the night-time shadows are sort of lost with the cam photo of the painting, but it is still pretty. Would love to see that view and color palette in real life sometime!

Really enjoying attempting to learn how to do portrait sketches. So much fun, and a great challenge too!

Made my first serious attempt at drawing a face this week after watching an episode of James May's Man Lab on Netflix and chose baby Anna. I'm thinking I'll do one for each of my girls as a keepsake from their dad. Not too bad for a first go. Shading is hard. :-)
