Thanks to News 12 Westchester for joining us for the unveiling of two murals designed and created by the young White Plains Housing Authority residents on the construction walls at the Winbrook/Brookfield Commons site in White Plains. Students were advised by ArtsWestchester teaching artist Miguel Cossio and artist Ikiyan Chestnut through a partnership between ArtsWestchester, Winbrook Crisis Advisory Board and White Plains Housing Authority.
We are proud to announce "Visions 2020: Plug In Your Paintbrush," an online exhibition of works created by mental health recipients. ArtsWestchester has partnered with Westchester County Department of Community Mental Health for over 35 years to provide artist residences to individuals at mental health sites. The exhibition will be on view through the end of the year.
