Compline, October 11, 2021

Church of the Ascension honored Fr. Bill Baker yesterday with a festive reception after his final service. There was laughter & tears but mainly warm wishes & prayers for Fr. Bill. The reception was organized by Linda Marone, Nancy J. Murphy, & Nancy Reiersen with help from many who helped with set up or contributed food. Thanks also to the many parishioners from St. John’s & other Staten Island churches who came to support Fr. Bill. And thanks to Nancy Reiersen for her great photos! You will always be in our hearts Fr. Bill!
