In these uncertain times we will try to keep all of our friends, patients, employees and loved ones as up to date as possible. First we, as an essential business are open. HOWEVER we are only seeing patients by appointment only. If you need services or supplies please contact our office at 518-758-1619 or 518-943-4312. If we aren’t in our offices the call will forward to my cell phone. Second, due to Matilda’s law please know that if you are over 70 or are covered by this law you will not be allowed in the office without a mask on. Due to the difficulty obtaining masks we only have a supply for our staff. We want to make sure we provide the best hearing healthcare during these changing times. Thank you for your patience and know we want to help however we can. Stay well.

With the storms coming in I get many questions regarding wearing hearing aids in the cold and wet. The good news is when the thermometer dips low your hearing aids are actually protected by your body heat so wear those aids and hear better!! With our Northeastern weather my motto is wear em unless you know you’ll be soaked to the skin. My big ole shepherd loved snowblowing- but hearing aids wouldn’t like it. Any questions give us a call!

You should avoid wearing hearing aids to bed. By removing your hearing aids at night, you are allowing the skin on your ear canal to breathe and for earwax to gradually migrate out of the ear. Instead, you should remove your hearing aids before going to bed and open the battery door to help conserve battery life.
