There are thousands of articles written, websites designed, experiments run, and on and on about how to get healthier. To boil it down to basics, all of their recommendations fall into only two categories. These two categories are briefly covered below. If you're looking to improve your health find ways to do a little more in each category and you'll start to see improvement. 1. Eliminate factors that are detrimental to your health. This is known as "Negative Gain". Examples ...of Negative Gain include knocking out things like smoking, eating processed foods, being sedentary (inactive). Also included in this category would be doing activities that support cleansing and detoxification, which are processes that eliminate detrimental substances from your body 2. Introduce factors that are beneficial to your health. This is known as "Positive Gain". Examples of Positive Gain would include: eating healthy foods, being physically active, drinking clean water, taking vitamins/minerals, walking and on.
