It's getting exciting over here! When we bought this house in early 2018, we knew it had potential. So much so that we didn't even go inside before putting an offer in. The view sealed the deal and I told myself that we could make the house what we wanted in time. Well, the time has come and after searching for an architect who could see our vision, understand our budget and bring an equally creative and beautiful design I'm happy to say we have the first draft of plans! A fe...w tweaks but, but overall we are IN LOVE! Still a long road ahead but it's great to have the vision on paper. December 1st! We made it to the last month of this rollercoaster year. I think the general consensus is to start the holiday celebrations early. I’ve been collecting Christmas themed books for a few years with the hope of starting this tradition as soon as I had enough. I wrapped 19 books yesterday! Each evening after dinner the kids will choose one and depending on the difficulty level, they’ll read to me or I’ll read to them. 19, because let’s be honest, there WILL be night...s where this just doesn’t happen, someone’s behavior doesn’t warrant it, or my patience level has hit empty.
