This is Queens-grown and harvested coffee, soon we’ll have enough to roast! These beans came from Hawaiian seedlings that we’ve been raising since we opened the coffee shop about 6 years ago. Since they’ve matured, every year we’ve been able to harvest just a little more. Just taking a mid-week moment (yes, it’s only Tuesday) to remember some of the more magical times over the past six weeks or so; like when that red-tailed hawk flew into the shop and an amazing nurse on her way to Mt Sinai had to help Dennis safely shoo it out the door.
