The Very First *DIVORCE* Of The Bible #Abraham&HAGAR! Then Sarai said to Abram, You are responsible for the wrong I am suffering. I put my slave in your arms, and now that she knows she is pregnant, she despises me. May the Lord judge between you and me.... 6 Your slave is in your hands, ABRAM SAID. DO WITH HER WHATEVER YOU THINK BEST. Then Sarai mistreated Hagar; so she fled from her. 7 The angel of the Lord found Hagar near a spring in the desert; it was the spring that is beside the road to Shur. 8 And he said, Hagar, slave of Sarai, where have you come from, and where are you going? I’m running away from my mistress Sarai, she answered. 9 Then the angel of the Lord told her, Go back to your mistress and submit to her. - Genesis 16:5-9 According to the verses above, though WIFE #2, HAGAR REMAINED SLAVE OF WIFE #1; Sarai was still authority over Hagar, and their husband in common reinforced the hierarchy between his two wives! SARAI, who had married Hagar to her husband, now, was also who ended their threesome! Reason: HAGAR FAILED TO OBSERVE ROMANS 13! The above scriptures also show us that AN ANGEL OF THE LORD REINFORCED TO HAGAR THAT SARAI WAS AUTHORITY OVER HER, and ordered her to observe ROMANS 13 - submit herself to the one that’s authority over her. HAGAR, though back home, was now Abram’s concubine (slave woman), no longer was Hagar addressed as Abraham’s wife! // THE NON-WIFE MATERIAL PROVED UNFIT AS CONCUBINE TOO #!#: Hagar and Ishmael Sent Away 8 The child grew and was weaned, and on the day Isaac was weaned Abraham held a great feast. 9 But SARAH SAW THAT THE SON whom Hagar THE EGYPTIAN HAD BORNE to Abraham WAS MOCKING, 10 and SHE SAID TO ABRAHAM, GET RID OF THAT SLAVE WOMAN AND HER SON, for that woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with my son Isaac. 11 The matter distressed Abraham greatly because it concerned his son. 12 But GOD SAID TO HIM, Do not be so distressed about the boy and your slave woman. LISTEN TO WHATEVER SARAH TELLS YOU, because it is through Isaac that your offspring[a] will be reckoned. 13 I will make the son of the slave into a nation also, because he is your offspring. 14 Early the next morning ABRAHAM took some food and a skin of water and gave them to Hagar. He set them on her shoulders and then SENT HER OFF WITH THE BOY. She went on her way and wandered in the Desert of Beersheba. - Genesis 21:8-14 HAGAR FAILED TO TEACH HER SON TO RESPECT SARAI; she failed to submit herself to her mistress again. This time around God Himself ordered Abraham to get rid of Hagar, and of the child she borne him. DO CHILDREN COME BEFORE WIFE? Marriage, and divorce, ARE BIBLICAL PRACTICES, yet, the way we do both MARRIAGE AND DIVORCE is totally unbiblical, just like the way we do Christmas.

Marriages Of The Bible #Abraham & AGHAR (Sarah’s Slave) Bellow is a marriage that may go against 98% of religious views: A MARRIAGE TO AN ALREADY MARRIED MAN. No, Aghar wasn’t Abraham’s mistress, she was ABRAHAM’S WIFE #2!... #: Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, had borne him no children. But she had an Egyptian slave named Hagar; so she said to Abram, The Lord has kept me from having children. Go, sleep with my slave; perhaps I can build a family through her. Abram agreed to what Sarai said. So after Abram had been living in Canaan ten years, SARAI his wife TOOK HER EGYPTIAN SLAVE HAGAR and gave her TO HER HUSBAND TO BE HIS WIFE. HE SLEPT WITH HAGAR, and she conceived. Genesis 16:1-6 NIV __// I find this MARIAGE STORY uniquely interesting because, not only SEX TURNED A MAN AND A WOMAN INTO A MARRIED COUPLE, but also, because the groom was an alredy married man! WHY DID AGHAR BECOME ABRAHAM’S WIFE, instead of minstress? #? Because: 1. Aghar was given to Abraham by his own wife, Sarai; 2. Aghar submitted herself to her mistress/ her owner’s decision, as it was her job to doing so; & 3. Abraham, Sarai and Aghar were in clear understanding of the plan, and all made it happen. YES, AGHAR BECAME ABRAHAM’S LEGAL WIFE, despite his been an already married man!

Marriages Of The Bible #Abraham and Sarah In the scripture bellow, we see that Abraham’s marriage to Sarah didn’t end when the two of them agreed to ending it. We further see that Pharaoh’s marriage to Sarah didn’t start by Pharaoh’s and Sarah’s agreement to starting it. We see that Abraham and Sarah remained a married couple, under God’s judgement, even when the two of them believed themselves to be divorced, and that Pharaoh was severely punished for his adultery with Sarah..., despite his lack of knowledge over Sarah’s true marital status. Marriage happens when TWO SINGLE PEOPLE agree to become a couple. If the married couple have sex, marriage becomes consummated; if the married couple fail to have sex, divorce happens (Read the marriage of Joseph and Mary to understand this statement.). Sarah, out of obedience to her husband Abraham, and with the intent to protect and preserve his life, entered Pharaoh’s palace posing as Pharaoh’s wife - her sin against God was an act of submission to the head of her house - to her husband, Abraham. Yet, Abraham and Sarah’s marital status never changed; they were and remained being a married couple under God’s eyes: #: As he was about to enter Egypt, he said to his wife Sarai, I know what a beautiful woman you are. When the Egyptians see you, they will say, ‘This is his wife.’ Then they will kill me but will let you live. Say you are my sister, so that I will be treated well for your sake and my life will be spared because of you. When Abram came to Egypt, the Egyptians saw that Sarai was a very beautiful woman. And when Pharaoh’s officials saw her, they praised her to Pharaoh, and she was taken into his palace. He treated Abram well for her sake, and Abram acquired sheep and cattle, male and female donkeys, male and female servants, and camels. But the Lord inflicted serious diseases on Pharaoh and his household because of Abram’s wife Sarai. So Pharaoh summoned Abram. What have you done to me? he said. Why didn’t you tell me she was your wife? Why did you say, ‘She is my sister,’ so that I took her to be my wife? Now then, here is your wife. Take her and go! Then Pharaoh gave orders about Abram to his men, and they sent him on his way, with his wife and everything he had. Genesis 12:11-20 NIV

Marriages Of The Bible #ADAM&EVE! #1: God existed before both husband and wife were formed. A place to live, job, authority and food were given to the husband, FROM GOD, before the wife was formed. In sum, A MAN SHOULD KNOW GOD, HAVE A HOME, AND HAVE A JOB BEFORE GETTING MARIED.
