Did you know that Greener Pathways Peer Advocates and Columbia Memorial Health Emergency Department have a program to connect with people after an overdose? Our peers can respond directly to the Emergency Department to meet someone after an overdose. It is the key to meeting people where they are at and asking them What do you need today for your recovery and how can I help? Staff in the CMH Emergency Department and Peer Advocates work as a collaborative team to provide ass...istance. Just ask any staff member to speak to a Peer Advocate and they’ll get the process started.
