Does it matter who files for divorce first in New York or New Jersey? It's a question I'm asked often by clients and prospective clients. Here's the answer. If you found this info informative please like and share! #divorce #quarantine #attorney #covid19 #divorcelawyer
Not to be missed!
Want to give a shout out to all those former couples and clients of mine putting their differences aside and co-parenting during these difficult times. It's not easy, and we're all facing different challenges during this pandemic, but the level of cooperation from ex-couples I've seen whose relationships were very contentious is truly inspiring. At the end of the day, our job as parents is most important, despite whatever differences. #quarantine #coparenting #divorce #kids #attorney #lawyer #fridaymotivation #fridayfeeling
Even though we're mostly stuck at home these days, we must remember to get outside every now and then for some fresh air and a nice walk (while practicing appropriate social distancing of course). Staying inside all day can drive anyone crazy, and recent studies have apparently shown the importance of vitamin D in fighting Covid. Right now I'm working on a motion to ensure my client does not lose her child support, despite the pandemic. When I'm done, I plan to take my dog ...for a walk and enjoy the sunshine. Did you do any fun outdoor activities today? #covid19 #covid #goforawalk #lawyer #fightingforclients #socialdistancing
Today is #nationalnursesday. I can't express how grateful and inspired I am by the brave nurses and medical professionals who are out there every day risking their own safety to care for others in need. They are tireless and courageous, and an example for all of us. Thank you! #inspring #nursesrock #nursesweek #nationalnursesweek #nurses
What was your worst job? One of my first jobs was for a small lunch cart business. They had a few carts stocked with sandwiches, and their employees would walk around buildings in wall street and sell sandwiches. It was a lot of work, for very little money, but it did have its benefits. I got to see how a small business was run, and I made some great connections. Remember, there are always benefits, and a silver lining, even in a job that's not ideal or glamorous. My work... as an attorney now is similar in many ways. I get to meet many people, make great connections, and provide assistance when people need it (although in this case I provide legal services instead of turkey sandwiches). Can you find the silver lining and benefits even in a job you don't/didn't like? #jobs #work #career #worklife #homeoffice #wfh #worstjob
