NOTICE: We are switching back to our regular way of picking in the evenings. We will be starting at 5pm Monday-Friday with a certain number of operators picking every evening. See the chalkboard in the dispatch office to see who's picking each day. Due to Covid-19, everyone involved in the pick will be required to wear a mask. Picking starts on Monday, March 8, and will end on Friday, March 19. The pick will take place in the conference room (Across from Latonya's desk).... Picking time will start at 5pm every day. If you are working and wish to be off from work for the pick you must let dispatch know. You will not be paid to be off from work to pick. Fifteen (15) minutes max will allowed for each operator to pick. Come into the pick room with your choices, be prepared. You can also leave choices. Operators that fail to show up for the pick or don't leave choices that are available will be picked in. You may pick over the phone if you are out sick, on vacation, or on a personal day. No one else will be allowed to pick over the phone. Operators picking the extra board will need to leave choices for days off. THE WORK WILL BE IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY APRIL 5, 2021 THROUGH MAY 16, 2021. THE END DATE IS STILL SUBJECT TO THE COMPANY'S RIGHT TO DO AN EMERGENCY PICK. Covid-19 Vaccinations: We have a verbal agreement with management at all properties, that if anyone gets ill from the 2nd vaccine shot and is too sick to work. That they will not be charged a sick occurrence. When calling in sick let your supervisor know that your illness is due to a 2nd vaccine shot. ... We do not have an agreement on lost wages. However, both side has agreed that is still an open issue. We will keep advocating for the loss of wages. You should retain your Covid-19 vaccine card as proof of vaccination.
