Good morning everyone! As some of you know it has been very hard getting in touch with our office due to the phones going straight to our answering service. We would like everyone to know that, we have an ongoing issue with our phones. They are on and we are in the office every day from 8-430pm, however the phone system is not working properly. We do have someone coming in this week to hopefully get us set up with a whole new phone system. We are asking that you all please be patient with us, as we are doing the best we can to help every body during the unfortunate situation. Please do not hesitate to send a message through our app to get in touch with us if you are not able to contact us when calling. Thank you all so much

Update: Please call our office if your child missed their well child check in the last few months, if they are due for one or just to check when they are due as we are scheduling all patients due for well child checks at this time! Please be aware that we ask that you and anyone over the age of 2 wear a mask to the appointment and have one one well adult accompany a child to their appointment.... All patients will need to call us when they arrive to the building and we will unlock the elevator at this time to allow them into the office. Upon entering the waiting room everyone will have their temperature taken as a precaution, if you are found to have a temperature and are not being seeing for this reason we will ask you to call and reschedule. We highly recommend taking your temperature at home to avoid this possibility. Our staff are also made to take their temperatures upon arriving to work. Again, we will be sanitizing all rooms, the waiting room and the elevator after each patient. Please do not be alarmed if a nurse or provider is wearing a mask as this is only for the safety of yourself, your children and our staff. We hope to stop the spread of this, but it takes a community! Please help stop the spread by practicing Social Distancing and staying home when you are not well!

As previously stated we are trying to keep up to date with all American Academy of Pediatrics, NYS and CDC guidelines so with that being said we are implementing more changes to the office to help protect our staff and our patients. All Well Child Checks that are not due for immunizations will need to be rescheduled at this time as recommended by the AAP. The providers and staff here at Auburn Pediatrics have always put the health and well-being of our patients and families at the heart of every decision we make. Per the CDC, NYS governor, and NYS health department, we need to temporarily alter the structure of how our office runs. We are still seeing Well Child Checks, but will give you with the option to reschedule a month out if your child is not due for any immunizations. We also ask that you reschedule your child’s physi...cal if you or your child are experiencing any cold symptoms. We are more than happy to still see your children for their scheduled physical, but as recommended we are trying to reduce the amount of traffic in the office. If your child is on medication please call the office for refills. As always, there will not be a fee for canceling appointments at this time. In addition to spacing out our available appointment times, we will also try to physically decrease exposure as much as possible. If a child has any signs of the Coronavirus (fever, cough, shortness of breath and sore throat) we ask that you call the office for recommendations from one of our providers. We will also take extraordinary measures to clean the rooms and medical supplies after each visit. Next, we will be temporarily removing books from the waiting rooms to reduce unnecessary exposure. We will also decrease the number of available chairs and spread them out more as well. Please try to limit the number of people that come into the office, ideally one adult with the patient. While most children have been relatively protected from this virus, we want to protect the elderly and at risk patients from unnecessary exposure. We want to limit and slow the spread of this disease for all our loved ones. We apologize for the inconvenience to families that had taken the time to schedule their well child visits. We understand how difficult this can be, but the safety of your children and family members is of the utmost importance. These new policies will be subject to change as the disease burden and threat shifts; and we will be continuously updating and following recommendations from the CDC and NYS Dept. of Health
