August Lodge Cooperstown

Due to the recent decision by the Cooperstown Dreams Park to close for the 2020 season as a result of Corona virus concerns, we are of course fielding a large volume of calls and requests with respect to room cancellations. First, we ask all of our valued clients to have patience. We intend to refund all deposits on reservations cancelled as a result of the Dreams Park closure. Second, in order to effectively manage the process of cancellations, we ask all clients wishing to ...cancel their reservation due to the Park closure to send a written request to us at [email protected]. This will allow us to document the requests and to provide orderly refund processing. We are certainly disappointed that we will not be able to enjoy this fantastic event and the company of our participant families but look forward to seeing everyone for a robust and exciting 2021 season!! It's always a beautiful view when the fog is rising in the valley. It should be another gorgeous day here at the August Lodge.

The August Lodge has served thousands of guests travelling to the Cooperstown area for many reasons; weddings, general tourism, weekend getaways and to provide weekly accommodations to many baseball families visiting our area tournament sites. We are extremely family friendly; however do not allow pets to stay in our lodge. We typically accommodate from 75 to 100 guests including many children on any given night of which a percentage may suffer from pet allergies. There are... other risks which our guests have been voiced to us in the past regarding the possibility of loud animals during the night and the risk of a small child being bitten. The multiple risks associates with pets make it difficult to allow for them to stay with us. Although we are loving pet owners ourselves, our policy is to provide the best environment possible for the majority of our guests. We are sincerely sorry for the inconvenience but have not and do not allow pets in our lodging.

After a rainy Father's Day yesterday, today was a beautiful day to lounge by the pool and soak in the rays.
