At The August Wealth Management Group, the safety and well-being of our employees and our clients is always our priority, and we recognize the important role we play in protecting your assets and family’s livelihood during this critical time. We are actively monitoring the COVID-19/Coronavirus situation and taking steps to help keep our communities safe. We want to share some of the steps we are taking, with you. At the moment, we have a team dedicated to our response to thi...s pandemic and have Business Continuity Plans to ensure the continuation of services. We are closely monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization regarding COVID-19. We will continue to seek guidance from these agencies, public health officials and government agencies on an ongoing basis. As our employees interact with clients, we have taken steps to limit exposure to the virus. We have put restrictions on travel, postponed large-scale events, limited the size of meetings, provided remote-work solutions, and continue to reinforce safe behavior in every environment from our clients home, our own homes and our office in New York City, where we have ramped up deep-cleaning. We are partnering with manufacturers to source as many sanitizers and protective supplies as possible and are prioritizing distribution to client-facing locations and low-income communities. Additionally, we have protocols in place that activate closures, disinfection and appropriate quarantine procedures based on recommendations by government and health agencies. We are in continuous communication with our employees reminding them about the importance of good hygiene, providing them with health education and support whenever needed. Employees who feel ill have been told to not report to work and we have specific quarantine and communication procedures in place should an employee be diagnosed with COVID-19 or is asked to self-isolate by a public health authority, and to provide comprehensive benefits to support them. Although we are taking every precaution to ensure the safety and health of our communities, your help is necessary. If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms and have a scheduled appointment, please let our Client Service Associates know so that we can discuss options with you to ensure our collective well-being. Additionally, we invested in technology, making digital solutions available to help you manage your account and receive customer support.
