Hi everyone! I wanted to post this new flyer in our group and also clear up a ton of information. I have received many questions about this year's upcoming Color Run and wanted to share important information regarding those questions... First, there will be MORE powder during this year's color run!! Powder will be thrown throughout MULTIPLE locations during the race and trust me, you will be BLUE!! :) Second, the race's course WILL be the length of a 5k. The path has been ma...pped out with more accuracy this year and measures to be the exact length of a 5k race! Third, Tee-shirts are INCLUDED this year!! We have created custom white Autism Speaks U Marist tee-shirts for this event. The price of Tee-shirts are included within the online registration fee!! Tee-shirts can be picked up on the day of the race. Participants are encouraged to register online NOW in order to ensure they receive shirt, as only the first 600 registrants will receive shirts. Fourth, if you have friends or family that will be unable to attend the event BUT still want to DONATE, they are more than welcome to and can do so simply by registering for the event through the ONLINE site!! Just be sure to not select a tee-shirt size if you are simply donating. Hello all! This is just a reminder that we will be having our fourth and final meeting for the fall 2014 semester Tomorrow night at 9:30pm in the choir room! Also, because many of us on the board are seniors, we need to begin planning for the following year after we graduate. Therefore, we will be holding elections at our meeting tomorrow night for most of our current board positions. Those who are elected will have the chance to shadow the current board members in the spri...ng semester of 2015 in order to learn the roles and responsibilities of their position! The positions that will be up for election include: - President - Vice President - Secretary - Treasurer - Fundraising chair - Sponsorship chair - Awareness Chair - Recruitment Chair - Event Chair(s) - Sports Liaison Chair If you are interested in running for any of these positions you must attend the meeting tomorrow night, as that will be your only chance to run for the position! PLEASE READ! IMPORTANT! Hi all!! I want to remind you all of our DodgeBrawl Tournament that is TOMORROW (11/9) from 1:30-4:30pm in the McCann Grey Gym with free pizza for every participant! I also want to remind you of the new priority point system with it's requirements for the fall semester. ... In order to earn 1 point: Members must attend a minimum of 50% of club meetings for the semester and 50% of club activities. In order to earn 2 points: Members must attend a minimum of 50% of club meetings for the semester and 75% of club activities PLUS the community service event. Our community service event for the semester IS the DodgeBrawl Tournament that taking place tomorrow. In order to receive 2 priority points for the fall semester from ASU, you need to register and attend the event tomorrow OR donate through the site. We are looking for as many people to attend this event as possible however, we do understand if you have prior engagements and are not able to attend.
