As we approach the one year anniversary of becoming an Advanced Life Support Agency providing Critical Care Level Care to our patients, the Andover Volunteer Ambulance Corps. is proud to announce to our community members, travelers, neighboring agencies, and our Membership that we have officially been granted a Level of Care Upgrade to the EMT - Paramedic Level. Over the last 11 months Andover Ambulance has grown tremendously and added several Paramedics as Members of our age...ncy. With this Level of Care upgrade, our Paramedic’s will be able to perform all of the skills that their Certification allows. The Chief’s would like to thank our Board of Director’s, Membership, Community Members, Dr. Frank Edwards, NYS DOH BEMS, Jones Memorial Hospital, STEMS, WREMAC, and everyone who has supported us in this adventure. With great sadness The Andover 4th of July Festivities and Celebrations for 2020 have been cancelled. This decision took great time and consideration before con...cluding a decision. The final determination is result of the COVID 19 social distancing guidelines. The committee is in great appreciation of all whom have provided generous donations over the years to make this event spectacular on a year to years basis.
