A special shout out to Jess Catalanotto for her great Linguini & Clams recipe. Although it wasn't the winning entry it did win for Most Nostalgic - if it wasn't for her father-in-law, Vinny, Aversano's may not be here today. Vinny had the original vision for an Italian family restaurant for Brewster...he eventually passed it on to our friend Frankie, who then passed it on to us - our first location at the corner of North Brewster Rd & Rt. 312 in 1986.
