SPECIAL THANKS!! Our fire department has a tremendous list of supporters like you. We want to send a special thanks to several village residents who recently donated vital equipment and supplies to our department. These items will be immediately put to good use: Carmine Galletta from GallettAir designed and fabricated an N95 mask-sanitizing unit for our Rescue Squad. This system will greatly reduce the amount of new N95 masks needed. Frank Rapczyk from Gre...at Bay Marine donated 25 Tyvek suits. Trish Wisdom from Direct First Aid Supplies donated 10 exposure suits and 20 oxygen re-breathers. Our department is grateful for the community's continued support, and we are especially thankful for these wonderful donors!

Despite the heightened danger of these times, our members have been vigilant about keeping our firehouses and apparatus ready for any emergency, all while following social distancing guidelines. Our apparatus is continually checked for readiness by our volunteers. And, although it is impossible to completely eliminate close contact in our line of work, we are doing our best to avoid unnecessary gatherings. Our firehouses have been closed, and all meetings moved online. After each call, members are required to vacate the premises as soon as their duties allow. We know this is an extremely difficult time for everyone, but please know the Babylon Fire Department is always here if you need us!

The Babylon Fire Department would like to reassure all the residents of Babylon Village that, during these trying times, our department’s volunteers continue to provide the same excellent service you have all come to expect. In anticipation of recent events, our department proactively stocked up on supplies to get us through the pandemic. Our volunteers continue to work around the clock providing rescue and fire coverage for our village. Despite being tired, scared, and concerned for their loved ones, they continue to respond promptly to our community's needs. Please know the Babylon Fire Department is always here for you, and will continue to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the Babylon Village community.

As we continue to show our Support for all our Healthcare Providers on the Frontline.... All the The Town of Babylon Fire Departments will be sounding their Station Sirens and Whistles....Starting tonight at 1900hrs... Its a small gesture in the hope to continue and spread the growth of awareness and support for these true heroes of our communities. Thank you All, and God Bless.
