Determination and dedication are the name of the game when it comes to Nora! She’s been working hard with Personal Trainer- Jen as she continues to puts her health first. She recently told us Now more than ever I think investing in my physical and mental health matters, which is why I decided to start training one-on-one with Jen. On Monday, October 5th, while out on her morning run, our very own, Michelle, was hit by an automobile. As a result of the accident, Michelle suffered a fractured hip and pelvis and had a brain bleed. She underwent surgery for her hip and pelvis at ECMC. She is now receiving in patient physical therapy at DeGraff Rehab Center. She will be immobile for 4-6 weeks. She has a long road for recovery, but as you know, she is crushing it already! When Michelle is able to retu...rn home, we want to make things as easy for her as possible when it comes to meals (we all know Michelle loved to meal prep) We have an account set up at Fit Fuel (in our plaza) to have meals sent to Michelle’s house weekly for herself, husband, and son. If you would like to contribute, please stop into Fit Fuel or call them at 704-9000. With our new virtual lives, it’s easy to get muscle fatigue and cramps from bad posture, or just holding a phone or typing on a keyboard for prolonged periods of time. Adding time to your day for some light stretching is a great way to wake up your body and keep everything feeling good! These few simple stretches can help alleviate neck and shoulder tightness and wrist soreness. Take some time everyday to stretch those tight muscles, your body will thank you!
