As an Animal Assisted Activity and Therapy Trainer, you are responsible for conducting trainings within our Pet Connections program. This includes, but is not limited to, developing and implementing therapy dog training sessions and training staff members, handlers, and the individuals we support on how to work with dogs in various settings. Training and incorporating dogs into therapy settings is a significant portion of the Pet Connections program, so candidates must be knowledgeable in these areas.
