Mary Ann was born Oct. 24, 1937 in Bradford, PA, daughter of Vincent & Margaret (Palumbo) Ciccarelli. She was a 1955 graduate of Bradford High School. Obituary of Patricia Bellis Patricia Jane Bellis, age 86, passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 15, 2019 at the Vincent House in Wayland. Patricia was born August 10, 1932 in Middlesex, a daughter of Howard & Vera (Lafler) Deal. She married Gordon Bellis Sr. on September 3, 1949; he predeceased her on March 14, 1995. Patricia was formerly employed at Beacon Farms in Middlesex, Comstock Foods in Rushville and retired from Dudley Poultry in Middlesex. In addition to her parents a...nd husband, she was also predeceased by a daughter, Dawn M. Bellis and a sister, Lorraine Shephard. Patricia was a past member of the Middlesex Sirenettes of the Middlesex Fire Dept. She enjoyed cooking, and watching cooking shows, Gunsmoke, watching birds and shopping, but most of all she loved spending time with her family & friends. Patricia is survived by her 4 daughters, Dianna (Dana) Bowker, Kathleen Dunton (Jeff Ross), Deborah (Ron) Clark and Kristine (David) Holbrook Sr.; 8 grandchildren, Bobbi (Eric) Smalt, Danny (Casey) Dunton, Gordon Dunton (Nancy Titus), Tanya (Kevin) Johnson, Ron (Jess) Clark Jr., Adam (Melissa) Clark, David (Christine) Holbrook Jr. and Jim (Nina) Holbrook; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandsons; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends and neighbors. Friends may call 1-3 pm Wednesday, Feb. 20th, at the Walter E. Baird & Sons Funeral Home, 300 West Naples St., Wayland, where a funeral service will be held at 3 pm. Burial will be in Overackers Cemetery, Rushville in the spring. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you, to all the Vincent House staff and helpers, for the care and comfort they gave Patricia & her family. Obituary of Carol Larsen Carol L. Larsen, age 81, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019 at Rochester General Hospital. Carol was born June 20, 1937 in Cohocton, a daughter of William & Hazel Mae (Teller) Mehlenbacher. She was a graduate of Cohocton Central School. She was predeceased by her husband William J. Larsen on Jan. 25, 2005. Carol was a retired Post Mistress of the Atlanta-North Cohocton Post Office; and she also worked at Bill's Liquor Store, the Fireside ...Gifts & Antiques and the Hornell Humane Society. She was a member of many local organizations, such as a founding member of the CDC (Cohocton Development Corp.) which has been instrumental in the Fall Foliage Festival for many years; she also was a member of the Cohocton Historical Society and the Cohocton Sports Booster Club. She enjoyed reading, gardening & knitting; but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Per Carol's request there will be no calling hours. The family is planning a Celebration of Life when the weather gets warmer. Arrangements are with the Walter E. Baird & Sons Funeral Home, 300 West Naples St., Wayland. Obituary of Alma "Toots" Kennedy Alma "Toots" Kennedy, age 94, passed away peacefully, Monday Feb. 11, 2019 at the Livingston Co. CNR in Mt. Morris. Toots was born March 30, 1924 in Rochester, a daughter of Carroll & Isabella (Gross) Tinker. She worked many places in the area, including Blum Shoe Factory and Rapid-Gro both of Dansville and most recently A. B. Cowles Publishing in Wayland. She married Ludern Kennedy on June 19, 1948; he predeceased her on Oct. 27, 1988. Toots ...enjoyed knick-knacks, gardening, and watching baseball; especially the New York Mets. She is survived by her son, Douglas (Linda) Kennedy; her grandchildren, Patrick Kennedy, Lynn Friends, Tiffany Kennedy & Aaron Kennedy; 6 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews & cousins. Donald W. Smith, age 84, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the home of his step-daughter, Jo Lynne Szempruch. Don was born September 14, 1934 in Dansville, a son of Walter & Florence Smith. He was a former carpenter for Didas Construction in Dalton. He was predeceased by his wife Elaine (Reed) Smith on July 26, 2017. In addition to his parents & wife, Don was also predeceased by three sisters, Leona Harvey, Dora Cnuty & Floraness Wegman. Don was an unoffic...ial Letchworth State Park Guide; and he enjoyed collecting antiques and artifacts. His favorite musical artist was Johnny Horton. Don is survived by his sisters, Alzina Flint, Betty Gilhouse and Joan Smith; one brother, Larry Smith; children, Kim (Mike) Coles, Kathy Littlefield, Dawn (John) Corkran, Donna (Nate) Smith & Becky (Douglas) Palmer; step-children, 4 step-children, Brenda Dennis, Roger Eddy, Jo Lynne (Andrzej) Szempruch & Richard (Andrea) Eddy; 12 grandchildren (Nicole & Jeremy were special to Don); 19 great-grandchildren; other family members who also cared for Don, Rachael & Walter Winner; many nieces, nephews and friends.
