2021 is here and we wanted to thank everyone who supported us through this difficult year! First a big thanks to all of our employees who stuck it out (and continue to stick it out) by coming to work everyday and doing a great job! We know its challenging sometimes and we truly appreciate it!!! We would also like thank our landlords at 128 Main an 1 East Main for being so understanding and supportive when times got a little rough.... A HUGE thanks for our loyal customers as well! You are the reason why we are here and we could never do it without you all. We thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts!!! 2020 was a very strange year. For obvious negative reasons of course. But we did have a couple very positive things happen for us this year. First, we moved our roastery from a small office space on the west side of Main St. behind Mountain Tops Outfitters to our new facility at 469 Fishkill Ave. If you haven’t been there yet, come check it out. It is where we now do all of our roasting, bagging and distributing. We also have a large open dining area for those who want to sit, have a coffee and a work or just hang. After over a decade in the coffee business and several years of roasting, we feel the new location sets us apart from others, helps us continue to learn more and more about coffee and has quickly helped us become one of the areas premier coffee roasters. Second, we wanted to thank all of you who voted for us and in turn helped BSQ win Best Coffee Shop in the Hudson Valley by Hudson Valley Magazine. This was truly a unique year to win. Normally these awards are one by bribing customers for votes (in a fun way), bugging friends to vote or going out and campaigning by advertising etc. This year was different. This year because all the chaos going on in the world, particularly in the late spring and summer when the Best of the HV voting was taking place, we decided specifically not to do any campaigning whatsoever. We didn’t ask anyone for a single vote. Frankly we were more concerned with keeping the lights on. And lets face it, the world had much more important things to worry about. With that said, we feel that winning Best of the HV is much more meaningful than it has ever been or frankly ever will be. The people who like us took time out of there crazy, hectic lives and voted. That’s it. No begging, no bribing, no campaigning. It was absolutely amazing! I’m going to stop there because my 8th grade English teacher is probably pulling her hair out as she reads this.
