This week for our STEM Saturday series during the #BarnardYearofScience, we highlight Megan Cloidt, DDS, MPH ’13, who used the knowledge she gained as a neuroscience and behavior major at Barnard to inform her career journey. Megan now works as a public health dentist at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx.

With sadness, we join Barnard College in sharing the passing of former Barnard English and Africana Studies faculty member Quandra Prettyman, who taught in the College’s English department for more than 40 years. Quandra's impact on the College was profound. She will be missed.

Olivia Benjamin ’14 was recognized in the VENTURE CAPITAL category as a founding partner at Operator Partners, an early-stage firm.... Olivia Watkins ’16 was recognized in the SOCIAL IMPACT category for her commitment to advancing Black farmers and food entrepreneurs as cofounder of the Black Farmer Fund.
