Hello everyone. We've decided to open earlier this year so today, Saturday, February 13, will be our first day back. I suspect the snow storms we've had were a plot from our governor. Be safe everyone
Hello and Merry Christmas to all of you. I'm cooking at home, i'll post my menu sometime in the future. Stay well and we will see each other next year. Godspeed.
Hello everyone. Perhaps you've heard this: NYC issued Last Night new outdoor dining restrictions for all establishments with a Liquor License, which summarize in: -Outdoor Customers may not enter the indoor bathroom Outdoor Customers may not enter the indoor bathroom (Just overturned, as we’re writing) -Customers cannot enter the establishment at all, not even to pick up take-out food. They cannot order directly at the counter either: they must order by phone/app/online ahea...d. -Outdoor structure must have two sides open for airflow, otherwise, it is considered Indoor Dining and cannot be used. The last one was obvious, and I can understand keeping people out of the building for pick ups...but not using the bathrooms? Both sides open, chill in the air (December?) there is a good possibility that one may use the restrooms more than once, but, wait, you can't use them. Should restaurateurs provide their guests with diapers??? Even if this gets overturned, how can we forget it? See more
Hello everyone. As you probably know, all indoor dining has been suspended by our governor. We have decided to shut down till next year since it is difficult, if not impossible, to plan staffing, purchasing, weather, and so on. Our governor, in his infinite wisdom, deemed necessary to shut down all indoor dining regardless of the safety measures taken by restaurants. I suspect he has figured the Covid virus has no place to dine, therefore it will die. I realize it is a diff...icult decision, one that has to take in account health and economy and it's not an easy task; however it seems to me the decision was made without significant inputs from the restaurant industry along with the health professionals and scientists. We may very well have to close IF the restaurants are the main cause of contagion, but if that's not the case, why not allow restaurants to be open, perhaps to alternate? Furthermore, why do we not have a saying in something that affects our livelihood? PS. The licenses and permits fees are still being collected even though we are closed. See more
Hello everyone. So, as I suspected, the other shoe has dropped. The governor will close indoor dining unless the number miraculously drop. We have decided, starting tomorrow, to open only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Monday we will decide our schedule going forward. Stay safe and enjoy the holidays.
How many of you think the other shoe is about to drop(The closures of businesses)? And will it happen before Christmas? Before New Year’s Eve?
These guys were invited many places for dinner but declined. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you
I think this license plate says it all.
