What’s more comforting this time of year than a warm bowl of homemade chicken soup? Not the stuff from a can I’m talking about steaming, fragrant soup that starts with real vegetables and wholesome chicken. Not only is a bowl of this soup delicious and soul tickling, it’s also a great, light meal to keep you on track with your fitness and fat loss goals! This chicken soup recipe is made without added carbs like noodles or potatoes. It’s filled with fiber, protein and lots o...f delicious flavor. Enjoy this on a cold winter day! Courtesy of RealHealthyRecipes.com What you need Servings: 8 1 Tablespoon coconut oil 1 medium organic yellow onion, chopped 3 carrots, grated 2 celery stalks, finely chopped 1 Tablespoon curry powder 2 garlic cloves, crushed 2 quarts chicken broth 3 cups diced roasted chicken 1 bay leaf 1 organic apple, chopped dash of salt and pepper 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme zest from 1 lemon 2 cups unsweetened coconut milk Instructions 1. In a large pot, over medium heat, melt the coconut oil and add the onion, carrots and celery. After 5 minutes add the garlic and curry powder. 2. After a couple minutes add the chicken broth, chicken, bay leaf, apple, pepper, thyme, and lemon zest. Stir well. Bring to a simmer and cook for 40 minutes. 3. Stir in the coconut milk, and some salt if desired, remove the bay leaf and serve. Nutrition One serving equals: 166 calories, 5g fat, 175mg sodium, 9g carbohydrate, 2g fiber, and 19g protein

These aren’t just any old muffins! I’ve done a few things to bump up the nutritional value to set them apart from other muffin recipes. Here’s what makes these muffins better for your health and for your waistline: I used cooked quinoa! This increases the muffin’s protein power and adds complex carbs to keep you energized and full. I took out the refined flours and used almond flour. This also increases the protein of each muffin and adds complex carbs. It also makes these mu...ffins 100% gluten free! I used a small amount of wholesome sweeteners ZERO refined sugars! This is super important when it comes to avoiding weight gain and sustaining your super power energy levels. I used a full cup of shredded zucchini. This is excellent fiber! I used mini chocolate chips sweetened with stevia rather than refined sugar. This means that the total sugar count for each muffin is tiny, while the enjoyment factor is through the roof! I used mini muffin tins. This is one of the BEST ways to control portion sizes! So you get to enjoy a delicious morsel without taking in too many calories. What you need Servings: 24 cup cooked quinoa 1 cup blanched almond flour 1 teaspoons baking soda teaspoon sea salt 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon pinch of nutmeg 3 eggs 3 Tablespoons raw honey, melted 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 banana, mashed 1 Tablespoon coconut oil, melted 1 cup zucchini, shredded and drained cup lily’s mini chocolate chips (stevia-sweetened) Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and generously grease a mini muffin tin with coconut oil. 2. Combine the quinoa, almond flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg in a medium bowl and set aside. 3. Combine the eggs, honey, vanilla, banana and oil in another bowl. Mix well and add the dry ingredients. Mix until fully combined. 4. Fold in the zucchini and chocolate chips. 5. Pour 1 Tablespoon of batter into 24 mini muffin tins. 6. Bake for 18 minutes or until golden and set. 7. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. 8. Transfer out of muffin pan and cool on wire rack. Enjoy! Nutrition One mini muffin equals: 56 calories, 2g fat, 7g carbohydrate, 127mg sodium, 2g sugar, 1g fiber, 1g protein

But nobody said to give up your favorite cocktails! A classic margarita is one of the most popular drinks to enjoy during a night out or on the weekend. Too bad most margaritas are filled with unnecessary sugars! Yes, it tastes good, but that extra sugar is keeping you from meeting your fitness goals! Enter the EVERYDAY FIT Low Carb Fitness Marg! HALLOWEEN TREAT! Let’s just say that there’s zero guilt in enjoying one of these wholesome chocolate chip cookies preferably while it’s still warm out of the oven. The chocolate chips that I’ve used in the recipe below are sweetened with stevia which is a natural, zero-calorie sweetener and can be found at your local health food market. By using these stevia-sweetened chocolate chips we are able to remove all of the refined sugar from the cookies, giving you a sweet morse...l to enjoy while staying on track with your fitness goals. And with only 5 ingredients these delicious cookies are super easy to make. Enjoy! What you need Servings: 12 2 bananas, mashed 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats cup vanilla protein powder cup almond butter OR peanut butter cup stevia-sweetened chocolate chips Instructions 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Form 12 golf ball sized cookies out of the dough and press onto the parchment paper. 3. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden. Best enjoyed while still warm! Nutrition One serving equals: 96 calories, 4g fat, 10mg sodium, 10g carbohydrate, 2g fiber, and 7g protein

Ingredients: 1 XL spotty banana... 1 Tbsp of Further Food gelatin (red container) 2 cups brown rice crispy cereal of choice Directions: 1. In a blender, puree banana. Add gelatin and puree again. Mix banana puree and rice cereal in a large bowl then transfer batter into dish of choice. Place dish in fridge a few hours until firm (or freezer to speed up the process). Slice into squares and drizzle with melted coconut butter (not oil). BAM!
