Why do I love a good LGD? Well here is one reason. I miss my girl, but I have hopes for my newbies. He will be that gentle giant, her? Probably the derpy snuggle bug.

I might have impulsively purchased a camera for the barn from an Amazon lightening deal....good news? It was worth it, I can easily do barn checks from my phone in the middle of the night and I quickly ordered a couple more to cover more areas. Bad news? So yesterday brought a new adventure to us with the arrival of our newest guardians. Although they both are young (5months), they come from generations of LGD’s. Right now they’re still too young to work alone and be trusted, but in time it will happen. Until then they will continue to become acquainted with the farm and its creatures. I wish Lacey was here to show them the ropes and keep them in line, but it wasn’t meant to be. Meet Ghost and Nymeria, Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees crosses. (She is the fluffy one)
