Effective November 1, 2020 there is a new expansion to the current New York State seat belt law that requires anyone over the age of 16 to wear their seat belt in the back seat. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, seat belts reduce the seriousness of crash-related injuries and death by almost half. #wearyourseatbelt #seatbeltssavelives
