I was driving yesterday and saw this beauty searching the river and canal for its next meal. I took a few shots out of my window and then pulled over and got out to walk as close as I could get (about 100 yards and 30 feet up ). As I stood there by the side of the road so many cars drove by and most drivers never noticed me with my extra large camera nor did they even slow down to look up and catch a glimpse of the majestic bird watching them all drive by! It is amazing what you see when you look up.
