Looking for some spooky season activities for the family? Head to Beaversprite on 10/17 from 3-7 for our first Haunted Trail! Perfect for kids, the trail will include spooky, animal-themed decor, a scavenger hunt, and perhaps a trail attendant or two to ensure your neck hairs are standing straight up! $20/family of up to 6 or $5 per person includes admission to the trail, s' mores and stories by the campfire, activities in the Nature Center, and more. Calling all home school parents! Let the Utica Zoo and Beaversprite, the zoo’s Conservation Education Center be your science connection this year. The lessons will start at the zoo for hands-on animal interactions and STEM related activities. The next week we will reinforce the lesson at Beaversprite with field work and fun. The lessons will be geared towards students in 2nd to 6th grades but all ages can participate. The cost is $15.00/child for both classes and participant...s must preregister.
