Thank you for sharing your holiday weekend with us. We're off to a great start to the 2020 season!

Seasonal Campers, We know that everyone is excited to start the 2020 camping season, and that there is an obvious and renewed excitement to get outside after many of us have been stuck indoors for quite a long time during the Covid-19 outbreak we are dealing with as a nation. We ask that you review the following information regarding the impact this has had on our April 15th opening at Bedford Creek so that there are no surprises when you arrive. We also will ask that eve...ryone adhere to the guidelines that are provided to all of us by our governor and the NY State Department of Health that strive to keep all of us safe by limiting the spread of the Coronavirus. Until further notice, please note that the following areas or buildings will be closed: all bathhouses, the marina and the boat launch (until NYS discontinues the on-pause that is currently implemented until April 29th), the store, ice cream shop, and pizzeria, the beach, all rental cabins, the pavilion, all playgrounds, the jumping pillow, mini golf course, volleyball court and basketball court (please feel free to shoot alone at the basketball court - but no contact, games or sharing basketballs please). In addition, we strongly encourage that you NOT engage in the following activities: social gatherings of any size, group cookouts, and campfires that include others outside your immediate family. It is imperative that parents and legal guardians be responsible to make sure their young people are limiting their contact with others as well. The need for supervision has likely never been more important than during this time. We look forward to the arrival of summer and hopefully putting Covid-19 and all its negative impacts behind us, but until then please abide by the policies above for your personal safety, along with the safety of your family and other campers at Bedford Creek. Hey SEASONAL CAMPERS: we know you've all had your share of newsmen lately, but we're going with this guy's statement! Nothing new to report since our last post....and unless we hear otherwise, we are on schedule to turn water/power on April 15th, so make your plans to come out and get your camp ready! But remember, all public areas will remain closed until further notice, and be sure to stay "2 S'mores sticks away" from your neighbor!! Stay healthy and see you all soon!

COVID-19 UPDATE: Hey everyone, thought we would let you know what our expectations are in response to the current health situation that we are all facing together. We hope to have the power and water on as scheduled on April 15th in order for our seasonal campers to come camp in your personal campers. This should be the case unless something changes and we are provided guidance from New York State to do otherwise. However, we do not expect to open community areas such as... the store or bath houses due to obvious concerns if we remain on the current course of recommended social distancing that has been encouraged by the federal government. We hope our campground will provide the opportunity for you to visit your RV, which should be safe in a similar manner like being in your own home, while enjoying the outdoor atmosphere that may be a little different than feeling cooped up in the house. We would strongly encourage you to still observe whatever the recommendations are from the federal government, when considering travel, social distancing, and limiting large gatherings even around a campfire. Just like everyone else, we look forward to life as we know it returning in the near future. We hope that your seasonal camp at Bedford Creek will provide the opportunity to get away to a clean and safe atmosphere this spring and summer. We will post any changes to our park status here on this Facebook page, including when we do turn the water and power on, when the roads are open. If necessary, we will notify everyone if something changes with our plans to operate as normally as possible. Meanwhile, stay safe, wash those hands, and if you're sick, please stay home and get better soon!!!
