She’s done it! Astaysha’22 is the first student in the history of BELA to turn in the Extended Essay! One of the major components of the @iborganization DP sequence is the EE 10 page research paper students must compete with minimal assistance from a faculty mentor. Astaysha’s paper on The Effect of Music on the Teenage mine was 12 pages and 3,209 words! She’s now one big step closer to the IB Diploma. Shoutout to all of our IB students for the late night researching, endle...ss reading and incessant revising during this process. Special shoutout to all faculty members that have served as mentors. Next stop the Viva Voce - a final closeout meeting with a mentor in which Astaysha will reflect on constructing this incredible work of art.
