After getting hit with torrential downpour and hurricane-like winds from Tropical Storm Isaias, there was a lot of damage done to property around Bayside. Damag...e included, broken traffic lights, down power lines, uprooted trees, and broken branches. Trattoria 35, as well as many other restaurants on Bell Blvd., took down their awnings, but still were open for outdoor dining. From @BaysideLiveTV : Continuing our week of local entertainment, tonight we bring you Major Tom’s Coffee House from All Saints Episcopal Church on 40th Avenue. Prior to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Major Tom’s Coffee House was a monthly open mic night held live at the church. Since quarantine began, All Saints has adapted the event to be an online webcast. Tonight’s show will feature performances by Major Tom Espenshade, Dan Bosko, Fred Adell, local playright Marc Palmieri, and more. The event will kick off at 8PM, and will go for an hour and a half!
