Pond work 1st thing this morning. Scything down invasive wild iris before the seed pods drop. Scything around ponds is the recommended method by the USDA. Weedeaters send plant matter into the pond. Which is not good for the health of the pond. With the scythe the vegetation is cleanly sliced , and removed from the pond as it is cut. This method is so noninvasive, I had a painted box turtle climb out of the pond to see what I was doing as I was hauling away the leaves and seedpods. 3 years ago this pond was overtaken by these invasive iris. It took climbing in the pond, and manually removing 2/3rds of them, to get things under control. Now it is just yearly maintenance to avoid the problem happening again.

Cleaned up 5 years of snowplow damage today. Customer thought they would need new stone. I was able to redistribute all of the piles from the snowplowing around the driveway evenly. Putting it all back where it came from. Saving the customer a large bill.

I have room for one or two more lawns. Depending on the size of the lawns. Room for one estate, or 2 smaller . medium size lawns. I put quality before quantity. I'll only take a work load I can handle. If you are tired of grass in your gardens, I might be your guy.... If you are tired of your lawn being torn up or scalped because it is being mowed too fast, I might be your guy. If you are tired of hay laying all over the place on your lawn, I might be your guy. If you care about the quality of the cut , trimming and blowing out of gardens, sidewalks, and driveways, I might be your guy. I do have a bagger system if your property requires that. As well as extensive fall cleanup gear. I won't be the least expensive, nor will I be the most expensive.
