VIEW NEPAL BEFORE THE EARTHQUAKE! (Try to view the video in HD) Please read the content of this post and watch the video, we need the world to see what Nepal is... about, both the writing on this post and the video matters. We need international media to share this post so that everyone can see what more Nepal and the people of Nepal are about. QUICK FACT ON NEPAL: We did a lot of research on Nepal, what you are going to read is to remind the Nepali people of their glory and how great they have always been and it is also to remind us, the westerners, and the rest of the world of what Nepal and Nepali people have achieved. So here is the fact: Nepal is a small country, yes, but its has the strongest and most successful history of all nations, Nepal has never been conquered or colonized. Nepal is either the only country or one of the very few countries that have achieved that crown. It is a roughly 2000 year old country. Not even Great Britain or any foreign country has been able to conquer this country and all attempts have been defeated. We want to salute you Nepal. Humans Of Our World respects Nepal, the Nepali people and their glorious history. Clearly if you could defeat other super nations when provoked, then you will recover easily from this earthquake too. The world needs to see this video so that they can see the beauty that is Nepal and why it is important to help Nepal get back to its glory - not just for the country - but also for the world so that the world can preserve one of its most beautiful assets and locations. Nepal is a living museum with a rich history, the world needs Nepal to carry on with its glory, the rest of the world are coming to stand with you and make it all better Nepal, help us help you guys like you are already doing, lets work together. I have been to Nepal several times and I have seen its beauty, be it of its nature, architecture or of its people. And that is why I think we as outsiders, foreigners, westerners, people that love Nepal would do a great disservice and injustice to allow Nepal to be defined by the description of "Poor small third world country". I am sure anyone who has visited Nepal, lived in Nepal and the Nepali people themselves will disagree with that boring description. To the people, who have visited Nepal and have seen its glory, we know that Nepal is a multi-cultural, multi-racial (there are Nepali people that look southern european, white, mongolian, caucasian, nothern european, aboriginal, african, indian, indigenous, mixed, etc), mutli-lingual, multi-faceted, extremely intelligent, beautifully accepting and kind to outsiders and foreigners, open to all religions and this unwavering faith and belief in God and higher power and great practice of human rights. Nepali people respect all religions and easily go to pray in temples, churches, monasteries, etc. Thus the description of being predominantly Hindu, is slight misconstrued, Nepali kids pray in the Hindu way, also the Christian way and also the Buddhist way, etc. 1. According to our research on Nepal, yes, this so-called small nation was one of the first nations in the world to practice education for women - maybe even earlier than some developed nations, this nation also believes in both matriarchy and patriarchy depending on each family's situation, women or men could both lead their families. 2. This nation also is the only country in the world that defeated the British invasion in the 1800s during a time when Britain ruled most of the world and it is this defeat of the British that inspired the Brits to ask Nepal to become allies and since then Nepal and Great Britain have been allies and the Gurkha army from Nepal became a part of the British army. Thousands of Gurkha soldiers have fought in the first and second World Wars and defeated Hitler's army and restored peace on this earth by collaborating with all of their allies all over the world. The Gurkha army is revered as the "bravest and strongest" army in the world. 3. This so-called small nation is also one of the first ten countries in the world to legalize same-sex marriage and openly accepts all diversities, thus their accepting and loving culture is one of the main reasons that gains them respect in the eyes of "Humans Of Our World". At a time when countries be it in the east, west or middle east are prosecuting people based on their sexuality, this tiny nation is accepting of every sexuality, both heterosexual and homosexual, and celebrating it through legal marriage, accepted religiously, legally and morally. I believe the so-called developed western countries have a lot to learn from this small country called Nepal. An excerpt from CNN article: Szczesny, author of "The Nepal Chronicles" says, "It is a place where people derive their happiness from relationships, not wealth. Family, community, food -- Nepali people often impress Westerners not so much by what they say but how they live. They've lasted this long; they're going to get through this. They have the strength to do it because that's the type of people they are." Alberto Batelli, an Italian who lives in Nepal after his great-great grandfather migrated here long ago says, "The Italian culture and Nepali culture are very alike as both Italians and Nepali people celebrate the greatness of family, food and community. In fact, many Italians and Nepali people have been migrating to each other's countries for centuries and thus have a bond in history as the two nations have intermarried. There are classes and castes of people in Nepal who look completely Italian and I have no doubt in my mind that they can trace their heritage back to Italy from centuries ago. I love Nepal. Kathmandu and other prominent cities are very cosmopolitan as 75% of the Nepali people I know are half something, they are either British Nepali, American Nepali, Australian Nepali, German Nepali, Italian Nepali, etc. This fact alone should prove to everyone that Nepal is an extremely open and accepting country that is exactly like a developed or western country. Although Nepal is sanwiched between two big Asian countries, Nepal is powerful in its own right. Yes parts of its architecture may resemble Asia, but Nepal and Nepali people in their way of thinking, values and ideology along with an extremely modern accepting way of living are more European and/or American. Nepal is not an Asian country. Nepal stands on its own merits as a country of the 21st century with all kinds of influences in its history. We love you Nepal!". We respect you Nepal, we are learning from you, that is why we need Nepal and Nepali people to get back to its glory and the world is with you to help with that. This message is not for the Nepali government or sleeping politicians in Nepal, this message is for the people in Nepal who have displayed highest signs of intelligence, humanitarian action and compassion. Thank you to the survivors for standing up, dusting yourself, then immediately helping the victims and assisting the troops and rescue teams both local and from other countries to help the people and the country. Thank you to Teton Gravity Research for this video that showases Nepal's beauty Teton Gravity Research. #nepal #nepalearthquake #earthquake
