Due to winter recess, weekly meal kit pick-up this week will be offered on Tuesday, Dec. 22 only, from 4-7pm. Those who normally pick up their meals on Thursdays are welcome to pick up their meals at Holmes, Hoover, and Franklin on Tuesday, Dec. 22. Thank you!

Please see an abbreviated version of several announcements that have been shared in the past, starting with our drop off procedures for tomorrow. DROP OFF PROC...EDURES Drop off times will be between 9:05a.m. - 9:25a.m. Last Names A-I, please drop off at 9:05a.m. - 9:10a.m. Last Names J-R, please drop off at 9:10a.m. - 9:15a.m. Last Names S-Z, please drop off at 9:15a.m. - 9:20a.m. All students should be dropped off at either the front of the building (Door #1) or on the side of the building (Door #21). Please do not park in the bus loop. Staff will be located throughout our complex to assist our students in their transition to their classroom. Therefore, please plan on dropping your child off at either of these locations to a staff member that will greet them, escort them through our temperature scanner, and make sure they safely transition to their classroom. Parents will not be permitted to walk their child/children to class.

Wishing all Ben Franklin PTA community a happy and healthy thanksgiving!

We are excited to announce that our unit has been awarded the 2020 Terrific Teacher/Super Staff membership award badge from the NYS PTA! We had over 75% participation from our teachers and staff by October 31 and we are so thankful and grateful for their support! We are still in need of parent/family support. ***IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE*** Gov. Cuomo has announced that portions of Erie County, including the Ken-Ton School District, are being upgraded to an Orange Zo...ne microcluster. Under this designation, schools throughout the Orange Zone will be required by NYS Executive Order to shift to remote learning. County officials have advised that this order will go into effect beginning this Monday, Nov. 23 for schools. We wished for families to have as much advance notice about this development as possible prior to Monday's shift to remote learning. Superintendent Cimato is in the process of gathering more information and will provide an update to the Ken-Ton School District community this evening. Details will soon follow on how to access this information, so please stay tuned. See more
