BIG WIN for International Students in the U.S. The Trump administration has rescinded a rule that would have required international students to transfer schools or leave the country if their colleges hold classes entirely online this fall because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Another surprise from yet another Trump-appointed Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court - Neil Gorsuch! Just two weeks ago many immigration advocates were surprised to see Brett Kavanaugh standing on the right side of the history by holding that a federal appeals court could review factual legal challenges to a removal order, but it should do so deferentially. Kavanaugh authored the Opinion of the Court! This gives many people reason to hope that the U.S. Supreme Court despite its curent composition may still maintain its judicial independence and hand immigrants the protection they should be given regardless of the current political climate.
