Best Friends Family Diner

We had an incident at the diner this morning that I am going to share. We had a couple of regulars that come in everyday, sometimes twice a day. The waitress presented them with their guest check. He always leaves it on the table with the cash. There was a gentleman sitting by himself who saw this. As the waitress was busy, the gentleman rushed into the bathroom. Came out paid his check and left in a hurry. The waitress went to said regular customers table and there was no gu...est check or money. She did find the regular customers guest check on the floor by the bathroom, no money. The said regular customer is a friend, he is a prominent business man within the community and would never just leave and not pay. If the gentleman that left in a hurry lifted the guest check and money, you not only ripped the diner off in these hard times but you also stole from the waitress that makes a measly $7.50/hour. They rely on their tips to make ends meet. Shame on you! I don’t know how you sleep at night. He was dumb enough to pay with a Best Buy credit Card so we have his name and the waitress will remember you. If you happen to see this, you are not welcome back. We are honest hard working people and we don’t need the likes of you dining at our little diner. Dishonesty is one thing I will never tolerate! Have a great day!!! See more

Saturday, January 23, 2021. Good morning! Today our breakfast specials are our 2-2-2 (2 eggs, 2 french toast and 2 bacon or sausage), or our Sausage Gravy over biscuits with eggs and home fries. For lunch/dinner we have a Bowl of Soup and a Grilled Cheese Sandwich $7.25, Spaghetti w/meat sauce and garlic toast $9.50 or Pork Roast w/mashed, gravy, vegetable and a roll $10.50. Our soups today are Hamburger Mac and Corn Chowder. We hope you all have a great weekend.

My daughter called me all excited, our story was on WBAL-TV 11 Baltimore news tonight. My son-in-law Jason Daniel Adams tagged me. Wow! I hope government officials see this. Something needs to be done to help us small businesses out.
