Elope for you. Not for cute Instagram photos or to look cool. Elope because you value time alone together, because a day spent intentionally with just the few people closest to you brings more value to you.... At the end of the day, plan your wedding experience for you. Not for anyone or anything else. This is YOUR day to celebrate forever as the day you chose to do life with the best person on earth. It's pretty damn special and you deserve to have it go however feels best to the two of you.

My spring dates are filling up with adventurous elements and I am READY for it!! When you choose to celebrate in the beauty of nature, nature never disappoints. Rain or shine it always provides the most gorgeous backdrop to your wedding day.

There are too many beautiful things and people I haven't shown you. So much to share, so little time.

Simon Bennett Clark He came a day later than we thought but I guess he decided if he was going to be a winter baby he was going to wait for a day with snowfall. We are completely in love

I've been a bit mia for a little bit and just wanted to say I'm alive, just dealing with contractions and other pregnancy stuff. ( I'm due with our little boy at the end of this month) Still working behind the scenes just a little slower than normal. Thank you all for your patience. I'm going to try to keep getting on here and showing all the romantic magic I've captured. Second shot for my amazing friend @garnetdahlia

Merry Christmas Eve! Thankful for all the love I've been able to capture this year. Hoping you and your family have a refreshing and wonderful Christmas.

My tired pregnant brain doesn't have any creative or profound things to say so instead here are some beautiful Taylor Swift lyrics to accompany these two beautiful souls. Wherever you stray, I follow I'm begging for you to take my hand Wreck my plans, that's my man

I am still alive! Pregnancy exhaustion just kicked in real strong this week and last so I haven't been keeping up with social media. I am still working behind the scenes a little as we wait for baby boy to arrive which could be any day now. I will try to make sure to keep sharing the magic on here though and not go silent for a whole week

The great part about designing albums for couples is looking back on the day and feeling all the memories, especially for this special elopement that my daughter Hazel snuck her way into

What is your favorite part of snow days? Mine is getting outside, exploring and then coming in for warm beverages and snuggling up to continue looking outside at the beautiful snow. Preferably in a cabin in Italy but I'll take the beauty of the North East for now.

Super vulnerable post coming your way. It's so easy as a small business owner to feel like I failed this year. Not because I'm broke or didn't book clients but we as small business owners can really push hard standards on ourselves and we already have to work a little harder than the rest. Like many wedding photographers I know my income got cut in half this year. Why? Because either couples rescheduled due to the pandemic or scaled down their wedding to something much smalle...r than originally planned. Which means only half the invoices I had anticipated for this year actually came in. Which meant I had to pivot and work extra hard for less. Which to be clear I was happy to do because bring joy to couples in love who struggled so hard this year is all the reward I need even if my bank account was less full than normal this year. It was an honor to help couples navigate through this awful year they had thrown their way and still celebrate their love. Now I don't want to sound ungrateful because many businesses had to close altogether for good, many people have lost their jobs. I am very fortunate and still have work coming in and I get to do what I love. But it is a struggle when worrying about whether you can afford all your bills this month or not after working really hard. It hurts my heart to see all these small businesses with their beautiful creativity and spark they brought to the world struggle so hard while big businesses like Amazon make a profit off of everyone's suffering. So I guess all this is just to say to any small business struggling right now, don't give up. We need your spark, we need the creativity and uniqueness you bring to this economy, we need what you have to offer. I know it's been a really hard year but you did an amazing job. I'm so proud of you! We can do this. I'm sure you don't need another reminder but let's try our best to be there for each other with kindness and encouragement. 2021 is almost here, we've just about made it through one of the toughest years. That's something to be proud of
